When I learned that my 2 year old grandson Eric and his parents wanted to move to 8,000 miles away from me, all the way to Guam, my reaction was most likely that of a friend who told me matched, "If my grandson moved so far away, I would absolutely die!" And I thought I would from a broken heart Maybe -. have you had similar experiences may not be as great a distance as the other side of the world (I do not hope for your sake, and the grand childrens'!) but far enough away so that you jealous of your friends whose grandchildren live with the car or reach on foot.
For months before Eric left, every time I'm with him, all I could think that was over soon, I would not be with him, and I found it difficult to sleep or concentrate or eat. But when the time finally came and he left, I began to understand that it do anything I could to to change the situation – that the only I could change what the situation was my reaction to the. So I heard myself feeling sorry for, and began to read more about my grandson, and what I could to the transition as easy as possible for him to make.
